Club Announcements

Office Hours & Closures

  • The Club office will be closed on Sunday, December 29th.
  • No Youth Archery program on December 29th.
  • January 2025 Meetings Canceled: The January Retirees meeting, Officers meeting, and Membership meeting are all canceled. See you in February!

Range Closures

  • Christmas Day: All ranges will be closed in accordance with our Bylaws.
  • Klondike Derby Weekend: Ranges will be closed from Friday, January 17th, at 5 PM and will reopen on Sunday, January 19th, at 9 AM. We are hosting 120 scouts, their leaders, and parents for this event.

Upcoming Events

  • Traders Day: Saturday, February 1st, 2025.
    For table rentals, contact Mike Heaberlin at 330-807-0810 or email hebes405@aol.com.
  • White Death Sniper Match: Saturday, January 25th, at the rifle range. Flyers will be available at the Club and on our website soon: nlfg.org.
  • Euchre: Every Friday evening at 7 PM. Plenty of room for more tables and players. Call Joe for details: 330-353-0337.

Raffles

  • M1 Garand Raffle: Tickets are $10 each, with only 200 being sold. Thanks to a nonmember for selling the Club this rifle.

Gate Security Project

  • The new gate security system is nearing completion. Member Paul Swain has built and tested the system. The next step is printing RFID cards for members who have paid their 2025 dues. The goal is to be fully functional by March 1, 2025.

January 2025 Updates

Meeting Cancellations

This closure is for the Klondike Derby, with 120 scouts, leaders, and parents expected.

Thanks to our members, all contributions were donated to the Chapel of the Cross for distribution to those in need.

Membership Meeting: Thursday, December 12th at 7 PM

Traders Day: There will be a Committee meeting before the membership meeting on Thursday, November 12th at 6:15 PM. Anyone interested in helping with Traders Day should attend. You can also contact Mike Heaberlin at hebes405@aol.com.

The Club Office will be open starting Sunday, December 1st from Noon until 2 PM. We will be taking dues payments for 2025.

Our indoor Archery program continues every Sunday at 11 AM and ends at 3 PM.

The Trap Range will be closed until spring.

We have raffle tickets for an M1 Garand raffle. Tickets are $10.00 each, and only 200 are being sold. Thanks to a nonmember who sold the Club this rifle. We are still looking to purchase another rifle.

Steel Challenge Shoot: The last shoot of the season was on November 17th. Thanks to Don Bates and all his crew who do the work and to all the shooters who make this program so successful.

Gate Security Project: All the electronic parts have been ordered and are being installed. Member Paul Swain has bench tested the system, and it works great. Paul is also loading the Membership list into the computer system. We are working on getting the necessary equipment installed on-site. Things are moving along nicely.
