Lake Jeff Barnhart reports catching an 18-inch Silver catfish. This was one of the fish that were put in the lake in May of 2022. He stated that the fish was healthy and fat and put up quite a fight. It has also been reported that a bobcat killed all the geese around the lake. Nice kitty.
At the Membership meeting on Thursday, we had our first round of nominations for officers for 2024. The second round of nominations will be during the November membership meeting.
Traders Day event: Mike Heaberlin is willing to head up a committee to put on a trader’s day event at the club. We have done this at the Club in the past, and Mike is willing to get it started again. If you are willing to help, contact Mike at 330-807-0810 or hebes405@aol.com.
Euchre every Friday evening at 7 pm. There’s plenty of room for more tables and players. Call Joe for details at 330-353-0337.
The next gun raffle will be for an M1 Carbine. Same deal: $10.00 per ticket, with only 200 tickets sold. Stop by the Clubhouse during open hours to purchase tickets.
If anyone would like to volunteer to help out at the Club, give us a call and let’s talk. We can always use some help. Call 330-832-2411.
ICE (In Case of Emergency): It has come to our attention that we do not have a contact number for our members. On the 2024 membership form, there will be a space to enter an additional phone number that we could use to contact someone in case you would have an emergency while at the Club. Also, you could record this information on your membership card. We hope we never need to use these numbers. Stay safe and healthy.
Hope to see you at the Club!
