Here is what’s going on Down Range at North Lawrence Fish and Game

Week ending Sunday January 7th 2024

Retirees meeting: Thursday, January 4th at 10 am.

Officers meeting: Thursday, January 4th at 6 pm.

Membership meeting: Thursday, January 11th at 7 pm.

The Club office will be open Sundays from noon until 2 pm for raffle ticket sales and 2024 dues payments.

The club office will be closed Sunday, December 31, in Observance of New Years.

The trap range is closed for the season.

The annual Boy Scouts Klondike Derby will be held at the Club on January 12th, 13th, and 14th. All the ranges will be closed Saturday, January 13, to facilitate this activity.

The indoor Archery and air rifle programs will be closed December 31. It will reopen Sunday, January 7th, at 11 am.

There will be a White Death Sniper Match at our rifle range on January 27th. Details on the website.

Jerry Klever and his family will host a celebration of life for Herb Klever on Saturday, December 30th, from 4 to 7 pm at the Orrville Sportsman Club. All friends are invited. Food will be furnished. Bring your own drinks.

Traders Day committee meeting: 6 pm, January 11th, one hour before the Membership meeting.

Traders Day will be Saturday, February 17th, from 9 to 1 at the Clubhouse, 15325 Lawmont Ave NW, North Lawrence, OH 44666. Twenty tables are available for rent. Only items allowed for sale are hunting, fishing, shooting sports, and sportsman’s related items. NO flea market goods. Tables are $20 each and are available for Club members only at this time. Euchre every Friday evening at 7 pm. Plenty of room for more tables and players. Call Joe for details at 330-353-0337.

The next raffle will be for a choice of the last M1 carbine or $500.00 in cash or your choice of a field can of 30.06 or 30 Carbine ammo. Your choice. Same deal. $10.00 per ticket, only 200 tickets sold. Stop by the Clubhouse during open hours to purchase tickets.

2024 Dues payments: According to NLFG bylaws Article VI Item 3, “member dues must be paid by December 31st for the next year.” To facilitate this, we will be accepting dues payments on Sundays during office open hours. Or you can mail your completed membership renewal form along with a self-addressed stamped envelope to the Club. Membership forms are available for downloading and printing on the website.
