The 2024 Klondike Derby was a huge success. Even though Buckeye Council wisely canceled all camping statewide for the weekend because of the high winds, over 200 Scouts pulled 30 plus sleds through wind chills close to zero degrees. Thanks to all the Scouts, their leaders and parents, and all the sponsors who donated food and raffle prizes for making this such a great event.

Christmas Season Food Drive: NLFG is conducting its annual Christmas season food drive. If you are planning on attending a club function, please bring a non-perishable item with you. Our Thanksgiving food drive was a huge success, and everything that was donated went to the Chapel of the Cross.

Holiday Closures: The club office will be closed Sunday, December 24th, and Sunday, December 31st, in observance of Christmas and New Years.

Christmas Day Closure: The ranges will be closed on Monday, December 25th, in observance of Christmas. There is no shooting allowed at any of the ranges.

Turkey Shoot: There will be a Turkey shoot on Sunday, December 10th. Doors open at 8, and shooting starts at 9. Breakfast will be available. The next shoot will be on December 17th.

Officer Nominations: At the Membership meeting in November, we had our second round of nominations for officers for 2024. We had no nominations for Treasurer for 2024. There will, however, be an election for 2 one-year trustees since we have 3 candidates for these offices. If you are interested in being on the Board, let us know.
